Ben - Ben was born in December of 2007, he is an adorable little boy and a very special part of many peoples’ lives, especially his family. He has had a tough start in life and will face many more challenges in the future.  He does not have a specific diagnosis but rather a collection of conditions.

Caelen - Caelen has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and has spent a lot of time in the hospital, especially most of his first year.  He has developmental delays and is in need of physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapies.  He is in need of a new heart and is on twenty-two medications daily.

Camden - Camden and his twin brother, Nolan, were born in 2011. At 2 days old, Camden was diagnosed with several major heart defects. He had his first heart surgery of a stent placement in the Cath Lab at five days old and did so well that he was able to come home and spend the next four months growing and thriving with Nolan.

Chase - The first few weeks were by far the scariest moments of our lives. Would he survive? What would his life be like? Would he be a normal child?  My husband and I were unsure of what the future would bring. Each day we spent staring into the incubator seemed harder than the last. But Chase refused to give up.

Dalton - Dalton is a four year old boy who was born with severe partial Trisomy 13, a condition that usually results in death within the first hours/weeks of life. Dalton has overcome many obstacles in his short life.

Gabriel - Gabriel’s diagnoses limits his ability to communicate, crawl, walk, play and interact, neither diagnosis explains his developmental delay which greatly effects his everyday life.  He has little to no quadriceps muscle making it impossible to bear any weight on his legs without KAFO braces.

Harry - Harrison was born with a very rare muscle disease called ‘Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome’.  Although it is considered a non-degenerative disease, it is a life-long condition, which will always affect the strength of his muscles and their ability to perform as they should.

Jayden - Jayden was born two years ago with a rate genetic skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).  He is missing a protein that enables the layers of his skin to adhere.  As a result any friction, bumping, rubbing causes his skin to blister. There is no cure for EB.

Kara - Kara is a happy, loving five year-old girl whose smile can light up a room. She was delivered by caesarian section at 36 weeks gestation due to low amniotic fluid levels and a breech presentation. Kara was born at 5 pounds 1 ounce and was discharged from the hospital at 4 pounds 3 ounces.

Kendra - Kendra is thirteen years old.  She was born with cerebral palsy and has had many struggles her entire life.  She currently lives with her aunt and grandfather.  Bella's Angels has assisted her with a computer because she's been too weak to write.

Logan - Logan was diagnosed with "Truncus Arteriosis" at two days old. He was immediately transferred from NorthWest Medical Center, in Margate, Fl., to Nicklaus Children's Hospital, in Miami Fl.

McKenzie - About six months after birth, McKenzie’s mother and I were notified that Mackenzie was not meeting her developmental milestones.  Over a year later and countless doctor visits we were finally able to get the diagnosis that Mackenzie has a rare genetic disorder, Tetrasomy 18p.

Nicholas - Nicolas was born full term and his mother had no complications.  It wasn’t until the time of delivery when his heart rate spiked from 150-260.  Within one hour of being born, Nicholas was trauma hawked to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and seen by their cardiac team and surgeon.

Peyton - Peyton is a twin but she had a very rough start in life.  She virtually stopped growing at 20 week’s gestation, and was diagnosed with intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR).  Born at just over 2 pounds, she suffered from a brain bleed, low platelet counts and a host of other issues. Her first few weeks in the NICU were touch and go.

Riley - She is a spirited little girl with a good sense of humor but is unable to walk, sit, talk, dress or eat without maximum assistance. Riley had what you would call “a traumatic birth” she suffered a stroke in utero and a hypoxic brain injury at birth. She had her first seizure on her first day of life.

Sammy - Samantha, was born on July, 2008. She spent a few days in the NICU because her lungs were not developed enough. When Sammy went home, her breathing was still not normal but the doctor said it would get better with time.
