Meet Heidi

Heidi is a joyful and adventurous soul who lights up every room she enters. Living with full Trisomy 18, she embraces life with curiosity, determination, and a heart full of love. Heidi is making wonderful progress using her eye gaze communication device, and she takes pride in walking with her gait trainer and standing tall in her stander. She is tube-fed but loves exploring tastes and textures during feeding therapy—her honey bear therapy cup never fails to bring out her biggest smiles. Heidi is also a cancer survivor (7 years cancer free!), heart warrior (VSD repaired), tubie princess (Gtube fed), and clefty cutie (repaired cleft lip and palate). 

She enjoys reading books, swimming, spending time with animals, and participating in engaging homeschooling activities. Games like Uno, Apples to Apples Picture Edition, and Clue Jr. are some of her favorites, especially when shared with her family.

Above all, Heidi cherishes time with her family, whether it's relaxing at home with stories and games or heading out on fun adventures. Her joyful spirit and loving nature bring happiness to everyone she meets, and she continues to inspire all who know her.
