Meet Olivia: A Story of Strength, Joy, and Determination

Olivia is a bright, determined girl who brings joy and curiosity to everything she does. She lives with cerebral palsy — and while her journey has come with significant challenges, she meets each one with courage, resilience, and the warmest smile. Whether she’s saying hello to a new friend or sharing a hug, Olivia’s kindness and spirit leave a lasting impression on everyone she meets.

She finds joy in music, books, outdoor adventures, and everything Disney princess. Recently, she’s taken on one of her proudest accomplishments yet: learning adaptive snow skiing — a testament to her adventurous heart and refusal to be limited by her diagnosis.

Olivia experienced complications during birth that led to her cerebral palsy. Since then, she has participated in a wide range of therapies — including physical, occupational, and speech therapy — as well as intensive rehabilitation programs throughout the year. Her daily routine is filled with hard work and determination to build strength, coordination, and independence. Her progress has been nothing short of inspiring.

She attends school in a mainstream classroom with the support of a dedicated ESE paraprofessional and works diligently to overcome the obstacles that many of her peers don’t have to think twice about. Outside the classroom, Olivia participates in therapy and tutoring multiple times each week to support her development and give her every opportunity to succeed.

Olivia's long term goal is to walk independently. Thanks to her unwavering determination, the support of her therapy team, and the generosity of people who believe in her future, she continues to make steady strides toward that dream.

Olivia has a strong foundation of love and support — and with continued access to specialized therapies, adaptive programs, and essential equipment, there’s no limit to what she can achieve.
