Meet Olivia!
Making Room for More Freedom
Olivia is a sweet teenager who keeps her family on their toes, and fills their home with plenty of love along the way! She has been diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease), Ehlers Danlos syndrome, irregular sinus tachycardia, small nerve fiber neuropathy, and non-epileptic seizures. Her family has built their lives around making sure she has everything she needs, with Mom homeschooling her and both parents working opposite schedules so that one of them can always be there for her.
One of the family’s biggest challenges is simply getting Olivia where she needs to go. She currently uses a standard wheelchair, but it cannot be easily loaded into their vehicle, making everyday trips and appointments much more difficult than they should be.
Despite the extra planning that comes with her care, Olivia continues to be a bright and important part of her family’s world.
