Penelope is a sweet young girl who has a determined spirit and a special way of celebrating every little victory. She is nonverbal but loves to vocalize and let the people around her know she is there.

Penelope’s genetic mutation causes brain abnormalities that have led to Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and hypotonia, making coordinated movement especially challenging. She also lives with a severe form of epilepsy and requires ongoing care and support.

For Penelope, progress may come one tiny milestone at a time, but every milestone is a reason to celebrate. With continued support, she can keep discovering just how much she is capable of!
