Bella's Angels, Inc.

Bella's Angels, formerly known as The Bella Cavallo Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which was formed in August of 2005. The mission of our foundation is to offer financial assistance and emotional support to families of children with a life-long physical disability.

The inspiration behind our foundation, Bella Cavallo, is a young girl who was born with a very rare genetic disorder, CHARGE Syndrome. Her family learned firsthand the joys and also the difficulties associated with having a child with special medical needs. They were also faced with the mounting costs associated with traveling to various cities to receive pertinent medical care for their child. The goal of our foundation is to draw from these experiences, and others like Bella's, to provide the information and support to families who are beginning their travels on this very familiar path, in hopes of making their journey a little smoother.

With Bella's journey as the inspiration behind this foundation, our goal is to relieve families of the financial stress associated with having children with special medical needs. We decided to form Bella’s Angels as a vehicle to have fundraisers and benefits not only to help with Bella’s medical bills, but to also assist other families in need of assistance by covering medical and medical-travel related expenses. Our mission is to offer grants to families that need to travel outside their local area to receive pertinent medical care for their child. We also strive to offset the cost of medical equipment not covered or only partially covered by insurance companies.

With the love and support of Bella’s friends, family, buddies, and even total strangers, we hope that Bella's Angels will help Bella and many other children to continue on their journey in life successfully.
